Shortly, we will be reconciling the Give 10 Hours to enable us to report on them at the Annual Community Meeting.
Please ensure that you have updated your Give 10 card to record all of the time that you have volunteered to the School throughout the year. We request that this be done by no later than next Wednesday, 7 November 2018.
The Give 10 cards are located in Front Admin office.
Thank you for all of the time you have generously given to assist us in 2018.
Kind regards Shane Baker Principal

As you would be aware, we are in the process of improving our communication procedures at St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School.
As part of this process we require all of our existing families to update their permission for the use of their child/ren's images. Please see the attached Consent Form for Use of Student Images.
In an effort to reduce the number of notes that are sent home each year, we have introduced an Excursion Form to cover all excursions and incursions for the duration of a student's enrolment at our school.
The class teacher will of course notify you of all relevant details each time an excursion/incursion is organised, however, it will no longer be necessary for you to return a signed slip for each occasion.
Please find attached two abovemetioned forms for completion and return to the Front Office via email to email@example.com by no later than Monday 29 October 2018:
Please note if you have multiple children attending the school, you are required to complete a form for each individual child.

2018 Annual Community Meeting - Rescheduled
24 Oct 2018
Each year our school community gather in the School Hall for our Annual Community Meeting (ACM). At this meeting our School Board and Friends of SSP report on the year’s business and sets the budget for 2019, which includes our school fee schedule for 2019. The School Principal also reports on the year and plans for 2019, which includes our staffing list which is always of great interest!
This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 13 November at 7.00pm, but will have to be re-scheduled this year due to CEWA not releasing any funding information to schools until early to mid-November which is very late. These circumstances are not ideal for our school based planning and beyond our control. Therefore, the ACM will be re-scheduled to Tuesday 27 November 2018 at 7.00pm in the Fr Simon Carson School Hall.
There will be more information to come about the ACM in the coming weeks, in particular for anyone interested in nominating for a position on the Board in 2019. There are 4 vacancies to fill, with 3 current Board members seeking re-election, so you may wish to consider nominating when the paperwork for this is sent out.
I look forward to seeing you at our ACM this year.
Kind regards SSP

Tabloid Carnival 2018
12 Oct 2018
Congratulations to all involved in the Tabloid Carnival today.
It was a day filled with good sportsmanship, exciting races and wonderful support. Particular thanks to Mr Thompson for organisation of this event.
It was remiss of me not to give Mr Baker's apologies as he is away in Scotland for a family wedding. Mr Baker returns to school on Monday.
Enjoy your weekend.
Kind regards SSP
