Tabloid Carnival 2018 - Sausage Sizzle Lunch Order

Dear Parents

The first Friday of Term 4, 12 October 2018, will be the annual Tabloid Carnival at SSP.

The canteen will be having a special sausage sizzle lunch order on that day. Please see below for relevant information and order form. Please note: online orders close on Tuesday 9 October at 9.30am and cash orders close on Tuesday 9 October 2018 at 12.30pm.

No Pets on School Grounds

Parents are reminded that due to Health and Safety Regulations, we ask that you do not bring pets into the school grounds unless invited by teachers under special circumstances. 

Parents who walk their pets to and from school should pre-arrange a meeting place, just outside the school grounds, with your child.

Help Needed - Grandparent's Day Morning Tea

Reminder - Grandparent's Day Mass

Please be reminded that all grandparents are warmly invited to attend our Grandparent’s Day Mass this Thursday, 13 September at 9.00am.  Mass will be followed by morning tea in the Hall and the opportunity to visit classrooms and view some of the amazing work that our students have produced throughout the year. 

We are urgently seeking volunteers to assist with the preparation of scones for morning tea.  Volunteers are requested to meet at the canteen on the Thursday morning at 8.15am.  Many hands make light work!  Volunteers are able to put their time down towards their Give 10.  If you are able to offer assistance, please advise the admin office, via email to admin@ssp.wa.edu.au, by 3.00pm tomorrow.

Kindergarten 2020

To adequately plan for Kindergarten in 2020, we would like to ensure that all of our existing families have had the opportunity to register any younger siblings requiring enrolment in our Kindergarten program in 2020.

Existing families with children born between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016, who wish to join our school for Kindy 2020, are required to submit an Expression of Interest form.  A copy of the form is attached for your convenience.

If you have a child born between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 they are due to commence Kindy in 2019.  If you have not already submitted your application, we urge you to do so immediately as we only have a few places left in Kindy next year.

If you are unsure as to whether or not you have already submitted your child’s application, please contact our Enrolment Officer, Helen, on 9301 6888 or email admin@ssp.wa.edu.au, to check if your child is registered on our Kindy 2020 waiting list.
