Last night we held our Annual Music Concert at Prendiville Catholic College's Redmond Theatre.
Once again, it was a wonderful showcase of the talented musicians we have here at SSP.
Thanks are extended to Michelle Oliver and Natalie Templeton for their organisation, to the music tutors for all their time and effort with these students and to the staff and parents who assisted on the night.
Kind regards SSP

School Photos 2019
07 Jun 2019
School photos take place on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 June. All students need to wear correct Winter uniform for their photos – this includes beige socks, no jewellery or nail polish and small hair ties that are maroon, white or black. Hair should be tied back as per a normal school day. If students have sport that day they will need to bring their sport uniform in their bag.
Student order envelopes have aleady been sent home and need to be returned to school, even if you are not ordering photos. Envelopes for family photos are available from the front office.

Tuesday 11 June

Important Information About Sickness and Safety at SSP
06 Jun 2019
We have been experiencing very high absentee rates over the past three weeks of school due to sickness and students taking holidays. I have attached a document from the Health Department that outlines some information on communicable diseases for parents, staff and students. I hope you find this helpful.
Just a reminder that, for the benefit of the school community, it is in all of our best interests if sick children are not sent to school or childcare, nor returned to school early whilst still showing signs and symptoms of illness. Please do not be offended if you are contacted by the School Nurse to pick up your sick child. Cases of Influenza A and B are reported to the Health Department by your GP. The school does have child safe and hygienic practices in place just as you do at home, so together we strive to maintain a clean and healthy school environment.
Kiss n Ride
I am following up on complaints from parents using our Kiss n Ride facilities. The main complaint is that of cars spending too long in the Kiss n Ride space – chatting, parking up, doing children’s hair, finding the drink bottle and answering the phone! The Kiss n Ride is exactly that – get in and get out quickly…oh and kiss your child! Thank you for your continued patience and co-operation in keeping our students safe at SSP.
