Welcome Back to Term 2!

We hope everyone had a relaxing and refreshing holiday break and is ready for the busy and exciting term ahead.

We began the week with a prayer service in the hall, honouring Pope Francis and his extraordinary life and ministry. Below are a few slides from the service that were shared with students, highlighting some important messages for our community.

Year 6 Camp

Our Year 6 students recently enjoyed a wonderful three-day camp at Ern Halliday, filled with teamwork, adventure and valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff for their outstanding organisation and preparation and to the many parent helpers who generously gave their time and support over the past few days. The students have returned home tired but enriched by this memorable experience.

Mother’s Day – This Weekend

As we approach Mother’s Day, we send our warmest wishes to all mothers and maternal figures in our community. We hope you have a wonderful weekend and are celebrated and cherished by your families.

A Mother’s Day Prayer

All-loving God,
we give you thanks and praise for mothers, young and old.

We pray for young mothers, who give life, count tiny toes, and tend to our every need;
may they be blessed with patience and tenderness as they care for their families and themselves with joy.

We pray for our own mothers, who have nurtured and supported us;
may they continue to guide us with strength and gentleness.

We remember mothers separated from their children due to war, poverty, or conflict;
may they feel the loving embrace of our God, who wipes away every tear.

We pray for women who may not be mothers but love and shape us with motherly care and compassion.

And we remember mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who are no longer with us, but who live forever in our hearts and nourish us still with their love.
